Sleepy...

Wow this baby is awesome.

Last night she was up from about 9 until 11 pm. Wide awake and just alert as can be. I laid her on the floor on her blanket for a bit and she looked around for 15 minutes!! Then I held her and talked to her the rest of the time. Finally at 10:30 she nursed and at 11 she went to sleep.

At 1:30 she woke up. She was up until 2:30 and then slept until 5:30!! She was only up until 6 and then slept until after 8!! I got 7 1/2 hours of sleep for the first time in months. It was wonderful! She slept wonderful.

She has either slept or been happy all day. She doesn't act like a newborn at all. She tries to lift her head all the time. She can hold it up for short amounts of time already even. Crazy baby. She loves to just look at everything. I think she i staking it all in. I can see her as being a thinker. She doesn't have the jerky newborn movements. They are random yes, but smooth movements. She doesn't startle easily either.

She is just awesome I tell ya.

When she nurses and is awake she puts a hand on each side of my breast and holds on to it. So sweet. She loves to cuddle up right into my chest when I hold her on my shoulder or such to burp her.

She has had two blow out diapers since being home. One when my sister was holding her and one when Brian was holding her the other night! lol

She still doesn't cry much. Just little mouse sounds! lol I love this baby! lol I am sure you all know that right?
